Restaurant Operations Manager
About The Position
The Restaurant Operations Manager provides overall leadership, supervision, and direction for strategic initiatives and operating standards to positively impact business results and exceed the guest experience. This role oversees all aspects of the business, from small details to the big picture, in a fast-paced restaurant and entertainment environment. The manager leads and develops hourly team members, helps create memorable guest experiences, and collaborates with the management team to achieve high-quality, timely results. The role involves working an average of 50 hours per week and being able to handle busy days while walking approximately five miles per shift.
Requirements
- At least 21 years of age.
- At least 2 years of restaurant or hospitality experience.
- Proficiency in managing cost of goods sold and labor.
- Ability to lead a team in creating memorable guest experiences.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities.
- Ability to work weekends, nights, and holidays.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, noisy environment with distracting conditions.
- Ability to handle busy days, walk approximately five miles per shift, and work an average of 50 hours per week.
Responsibilities
- Develop and lead hourly team members to exceed guests’ expectations.
- Demonstrate proactive leadership through personal interactions that support positive staff and guest experiences.
- Interact with guest-service-focused team members in recruiting, hiring, coaching, training, and ongoing professional development.
- Model the company’s core values and lead others to do so.
- Collaborate with the management team to achieve high-quality and timely results.
- Oversee all aspects of the business, including cost of goods sold and labor management.
