Restaurant Operations Manager
About The Position
The Restaurant Operations Manager provides overall leadership, supervision, and direction for strategic initiatives and operating standards to positively impact business results and exceed the guest experience. The role oversees all aspects of the business, from minor details to the big picture, in a fast-paced restaurant and entertainment environment. It involves leading team members, supporting guest-focused operations, and working with the management team to achieve high-quality and timely results. The position may involve handling busy $100K days, walking approximately five miles per shift, and working an average of 50 hours per week.
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- At least 2 years of restaurant or hospitality experience.
- Proficiency in managing cost of goods sold and labor.
- Ability to lead a team in creating a memorable guest experience.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities.
- Ability to work weekends, nights, and holidays.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, noisy environment with distracting conditions.
Responsibilities
- Develop and lead hourly team members to exceed guest expectations.
- Demonstrate proactive leadership through personal interactions that support positive staff and guest experiences.
- Interact with guest-service-focused team members in recruiting, hiring, coaching, training, and ongoing professional development.
- Live the company’s core values and lead others to do so.
- Collaborate with the management team to achieve high-quality and timely results.
- Oversee all aspects of the business, including both operational details and broader objectives.
