About The Position

The Restaurant Leader Trainee works as part of a restaurant management team and develops into a restaurant leadership role through training and learning the business. The role focuses on providing excellent customer service, developing and coaching employees, maintaining restaurant standards, and implementing merchandising and marketing programs. 7-Eleven emphasizes training, employee success, and advancement opportunities through promotion from within.

Requirements

Ability to provide leadership, training, and coaching to restaurant employees.
Ability to focus on employee retention, identify qualified applicants, develop leaders, empower employees, and encourage productivity.
Ability to maintain restaurant conditions in compliance with company policies, procedures, and Health Department standards.
Ability to oversee and implement merchandising and marketing programs.
Demonstrated ability to use P&L and store reports to affect change.
Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient computer knowledge; Microsoft Word and Excel are preferred.
Ability to multitask and perform repeated bending, standing, and reaching, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
Previous supervisory experience is sought. A high school diploma or GED is preferred, but not required for candidates with at least one year of restaurant management experience.
