About The Position

The Restaurant Leader Trainee works as part of a restaurant management team and develops the skills needed to lead restaurant operations. 7-Eleven provides training and advancement opportunities, including a promote-from-within philosophy, to support employee success. The role focuses on customer service, coaching and developing employees, maintaining restaurant standards, implementing merchandising and marketing programs, and using store reports to improve results. The posting notes that a high school diploma or GED is preferred, but not required for candidates with at least one year of restaurant management experience.

Requirements

• Previous supervisory experience.
• Ability to provide customer service leadership, training, and coaching.
• Ability to support employee retention, development, empowerment, and productivity.
• Ability to maintain restaurant conditions in compliance with company policies, procedures, and Health Department standards.
• Ability to oversee and implement merchandising and marketing programs.
• Demonstrated ability to use P&L and store reports to affect change.
• Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient computer knowledge; Microsoft Word and Excel are preferred.
• Ability to multitask and perform repeated bending, standing, and reaching, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
• A high school diploma or GED is preferred, but not required for candidates with at least one year of restaurant management experience.
