About The Position

7-Eleven is seeking an emerging food service leader to support In-Store Quick Serve Restaurant operations in a fast-paced retail environment. The role leads daily fresh food service operations, supports sales growth and profitability, manages inventory and vendor relationships, and develops a high-performing team. The Restaurant Leader Trainee helps ensure food quality, safety, operational compliance, and a positive customer experience while contributing to restaurant culture and operational excellence.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
At least 1 year of food service, QSR, or casual fast food preparation leadership experience.
Obtain and maintain locally required safe food handling certification.
Strong leadership abilities and a track record of developing team members and delivering exceptional customer service.
Ability to use P&L statements and restaurant reports to identify opportunities and drive positive change.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for engaging customers, coaching employees, and partnering with vendors.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products and point-of-sale systems.
Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds, and work in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

Lead daily fresh food service operations while ensuring compliance with health standards, company policies, and safety regulations.
Drive sales growth and profitability by managing food programs, analyzing financial data, controlling costs, and implementing merchandising strategies.
Manage inventory and vendor relationships to support in-stock efficiency on top-selling items and accurate order fulfillment.
Recruit, coach, and develop team members and foster a culture where they excel and feel recognized.
Oversee food preparation, quality standards, and equipment maintenance.
Create and manage work schedules, provide coverage as needed, and respond to safety incidents or operational challenges.
