About The Position

The Restaurant General Manager leads a SONIC Drive-In restaurant with KBP Drive-In, owning restaurant performance, profitability, team development, and the guest experience. The role includes managing labor, inventory, cash controls, security procedures, and financial results; hiring and developing restaurant employees and leaders; and maintaining a clean, welcoming restaurant that delivers friendly service and quality food. The position offers leadership development and opportunities to pursue above-store roles.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of Restaurant General Manager experience in food service or retail with profit and loss responsibility.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Availability to close the restaurant at least 2 nights per week.
• Ability to work in an active restaurant environment, including standing, walking, lifting, moving through compact spaces, and safely using restaurant equipment.

Nice To Haves

• Quick-service restaurant experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage restaurant performance and profitability, including labor, inventory, cash controls, security procedures, and financial results.
• Recruit, interview, and hire Team Members, Shift Managers, and Assistant General Managers.
• Coach and develop employees to support operational excellence and strong restaurant results.
• Complete required inventory counts and use the results to help control costs.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming restaurant where guests receive friendly service and quality food.
• Close the restaurant at least two nights per week.
