About The Position

The Restaurant General Manager leads a SONIC Drive-In restaurant with KBP Drive-In, owning restaurant performance, profitability, team development, and the guest experience. The role manages labor, inventory, cash controls, security procedures, and financial results; recruits and hires team members and managers; and coaches employees to deliver operational excellence. The General Manager also completes inventory counts, controls costs, and ensures the restaurant is clean and welcoming, with friendly service and quality food. The position offers leadership development and potential advancement to above-store roles.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of Restaurant General Manager experience in food service or retail with profit and loss responsibility.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Availability to close the restaurant at least 2 nights per week.
• Ability to work in an active restaurant environment, including standing, walking, lifting, moving through compact spaces, and safely using restaurant equipment.

• Quick-service restaurant experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage restaurant performance and profitability, including labor, inventory, cash controls, security procedures, and financial results.
• Recruit, interview, and hire Team Members, Shift Managers, and Assistant General Managers.
• Coach and develop employees to deliver operational excellence and strong restaurant results.
• Complete required inventory counts and use the results to help control costs.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming restaurant where guests receive friendly service and quality food.
• Close the restaurant at least two nights per week.
