About The Position

The Restaurant General Manager is responsible for running the restaurant operation and achieving company goals while maximizing guest satisfaction. The role drives sales through excellent guest service, quality products, marketing, and effective operations; manages profit and loss through business analysis; and trains and develops the management team to ensure company standards are implemented and maintained. The position includes working lunch and dinner during peak sales periods as part of a 55-hour work week.

Responsibilities

Build sales through great guest service and consistently high-quality products.
Create an effective work schedule that supports projected business needs; write it by 5 p.m. Friday and post it by 5 p.m. Monday each week.
Work lunch and dinner during peak sales periods as part of a 55-hour work week.
Ensure the safety and security of employees and customers.
Attain the restaurant’s Annual Operating Plan.
Ensure safe food is consistently delivered on every shift.
Execute systems consistently to maintain a clean, organized restaurant.
Purchase food, beverages, and supplies as needed, and oversee preparation to ensure products meet quality standards.
Operate according to established performance, profit, and operating standards outlined in the OSM.
Use Learning Hub training effectively to hire, retain, and develop strong employees and prepare team members and managers for growth opportunities.
Maintain working knowledge of restaurant equipment and take responsibility for preventive maintenance.
Execute marketing plans, including approved Local Store Marketing, accurately and on time to build repeat customer visits.
Provide leadership that fosters enthusiasm, a positive attitude, and commitment to company objectives.
Train employees on cash-control systems and credit-card security, and maintain a secure environment for credit-card data.
Meet administrative requirements and execute procedural guidelines.
