About The Position

The Dishwasher washes and cleans tableware, pots, pans, and cooking equipment, and keeps the dish room and equipment clean and organized. The role requires working for extended periods in a hot, wet, humid, and loud environment. Physical demands include lifting bags, cases, and stacks weighing up to 60 pounds up to 30 times per shift, and reaching, bending, and standing for long periods, including up to five hours. The position is full-time at Recovery Sports Grill Westampton in Westampton, New Jersey, with a listed hourly pay rate of $16.50. Weekend and holiday availability is required for most positions.

Requirements

Responsibilities

Load, run, and unload the dish machine.
Keep the dish machine clean and report functional or mechanical problems immediately.
Monitor dish machine water temperature to ensure a sanitary wash cycle.
Wash and store tableware and kitchenware.
Keep the dish room clean and organized.
Maintain adequate levels of clean tableware for the dining room and kitchen.
Bag and haul dish room trash to the dumpster at designated times.
Handle tableware carefully to prevent breakage and loss.
Maintain adequate levels of dish detergents and cleaning supplies.
Clean food preparation and production areas as required.
Fill in as needed to support smooth and efficient restaurant operations, as directed by the restaurant manager or immediate supervisor.
