About The Position

The Dishwasher cleans dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, pans, and other cooking equipment using dishwashers or by hand, then places clean items in designated storage areas. The role maintains clean and orderly kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils; sweeps and mops floors; empties and sorts trash; and helps ensure the kitchen meets sanitation and food safety standards. The Dishwasher may also help unload and store deliveries and perform other kitchen duties as assigned by the culinary team or supervisor. The position requires availability for nights and weekends.

• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy trays or dish racks.

Nice To Haves

• Experience as a dishwasher or in a similar role is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using dishwashers or by hand.
• Place clean dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment in designated storage areas.
• Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils in clean and orderly condition.
• Sweep and mop floors and empty trash to maintain cleanliness and safety in the kitchen.
• Sort and remove trash, placing it in designated pickup areas.
• Comply with sanitation regulations and food safety guidelines.
• Assist with unloading and storing deliveries.
• Perform other kitchen duties as assigned by the culinary team or supervisor.
