About The Position

Ian's Pizza is hiring restaurant crew members for its Downtown Milwaukee location. Depending on the position, crew members may prepare, top, and bake pizzas; deliver orders; or serve customers, sell slices, prepare salads, and operate the register. Team members help keep their work areas clean and stocked, complete shift checklists, and assist wherever needed to keep the restaurant running smoothly. The restaurant is fast-paced and high-volume, with busy evening and weekend shifts. Late-night shifts are required once per week.

The restaurant is open Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 2 a.m. and Sunday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Example shifts include lunch, weekday dinner, weekend dinner, and weekend late night. The role requires standing and walking for extended periods, lifting items, working around common food allergens, using kitchen equipment, and working in varying temperatures and a loud, fast-paced environment. Applicants must be at least 18 years old and authorized to work in the United States; identification is required at orientation.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.

• Able to stand, walk, and be on their feet for long periods.
• Able to lift up to 30 pounds regularly for Server positions and up to 50 pounds for all other positions.
• Able to work with common allergens such as gluten, dairy, and eggs.
• Comfortable using ovens, knives, and other kitchen equipment.
• Comfortable working in varying temperatures and in a loud, fast-paced restaurant environment.
• Available to work a late-night shift once per week.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, stretch, toss, top, and bake pizzas, depending on position.
• Deliver customer orders, depending on position.
• Greet customers, serve slices, prepare salads, and operate the register, depending on position.
• Keep work areas clean and well-stocked.
• Work with the team to complete shift checklists.
• Pitch in where needed to keep the restaurant running smoothly.
