Restaurant Busser Council Room Part Time
About The Position
The Restaurant Busser facilitates food service at Sandia Resort Hotel in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The role includes cleaning tables, carrying dirty dishes, replacing soiled table linens, replenishing clean linens and service ware, supplying service bars with food, and serving water, butter, and coffee. The position supports a fast-paced food and beverage operation and requires a sense of urgency when greeting guests and turning tables. The successful candidate works as part of a team, follows instructions, maintains hygiene standards, and provides excellent customer and personal service. A Food Handler certification must be obtained upon hire, and candidates must pass a stringent background investigation and post-offer, pre-employment, and random drug screenings.
Requirements

- Knowledge of service ware, table setting, and proper removal of soiled service ware.
- Able to lift up to 30 lbs.

- Must successfully pass a stringent background investigation.
- Must complete post-offer, pre-employment, and random drug screenings.
- Must obtain Food Handler certification upon hire.
- Must be able to lift 100 lbs. occasionally and 50 lbs. frequently; demonstration of this ability is required.
- Must be able to work long hours under stressful conditions.

Responsibilities
- Clean up spilled food and drinks, broken dishes, empty bottles, and trash.
- Carry food, dishes, trays, and silverware from kitchens and supply departments to serving counters.
- Carry trays of soiled dishes, glassware, and silverware from tables and booths to the kitchen and dish room.
- Fill beverage and ice dispensers.
- Maintain supplies of clean linens, silverware, glassware, dishes, and trays.
- Replenish food and equipment at steam tables and service bars.
- Scrape and stack dirty dishes and carry dishes and other tableware to the kitchen for cleaning.
- Greet guests and turn tables with a sense of urgency.
- Assist with running food to tables and the lounge.
- Assist with room service orders to guest rooms when needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
