About The Position

South Coast Winery Resort & Spa is a premier wine country destination in Temecula Wine Country, offering guests an exception blend of hospitality, wine, dining, and resort experiences. The Vineyard Rose Restaurant provides an elevated dining experience where exceptional food, wine, and genuine hospitality come together. We are looking for a passionate and service-focused Restaurant Bartender to join our team. The Restaurant Bartender is responsible for providing outstanding service to guests at Vineyard Rose Restaurant while creating a welcoming and memorable bar experience. This position prepares and serves beverages, promotes wine and wine club memberships, maintains a clean and well-stocked bar, and provides knowledgeable recommendations to guests.

Requirements

Provide excellent and courteous service to all Vineyard Rose guests.
Greet guests and create a warm, welcoming atmosphere.
Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with company standards.
Promote the sale of wine and non-wine products available in the bar.
Promote wine club memberships and educate guests on the benefits of membership.
Develop and maintain thorough knowledge of South Coast Winery Resort & Spa and its wines.
Describe wines, varietals, winemaking techniques, and winery history while confidently answering guest questions.
Operate the POS system accurately to process sales and transactions.
Maintain accurate bar inventory and reconcile daily sales.
Ensure the bar and service areas are clean, organized, attractive, and fully stocked.
Maintain attractive displays of wine and non-wine products.
Assist with special events and represent the restaurant at outside functions as needed.
Promote a positive image of the company and its products.
Work collaboratively with restaurant and resort team members to provide an exceptional guest experience.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
