Restaurant Assistant General Manager

IanMadison, WI
Onsite

About The Position

You're the right hand to the GM, helping keep every part of the restaurant running smoothly. You'll help build a culture that's fun, supportive, and aligned with our Vision, Values, and Big Five. We believe that the key ingredient to a rockin' pizza joint is a vibing crew that never compromises on quality food, service, and cleanliness. The AGM plays a key role in training, developing, and supporting staff to keep energy high and the business thriving. In addition to training and developing your team, you will help with scheduling, product ordering, and leading busy shifts. Our AGMs are always thinking about how we can make improvements, coming up with and leading projects to make our pizza, people, or both better! This isn't a "figure it out as you go" management job. From day one, you'll follow a structured leadership development program designed to help you become a great manager, not just someone who can run a shift! Your development includes: 20-23 weeks of structured onboarding and training with experienced leaders across multiple Madison restaurants. This is typically broken down into ~10 weeks of operations training and then ~13 weeks of leadership training. Hands-on experience leading operations, scheduling, product ordering, inventory, food safety, coaching, financial performance, and problem-solving. Regular mentorship and one-on-one development with experienced leaders. Leadership classes covering topics like de-escalation, unconscious bias, harassment and employee conflict, and more. Ongoing feedback and coaching focused on helping you continue growing long after training ends. Whether your goal is becoming an outstanding AGM, stepping up into a General Manager role, or taking on broader leadership opportunities as Ian's continues to grow, we'll invest in helping you get there.
