About The Position

This is an in-home respite provider opportunity supporting a young boy in or around Bloomer, Wisconsin. The provider will care for him and help maintain a fun, engaging, and safe environment. The boy enjoys learning how things work, hunting and fishing, sports, outdoor activities such as hiking and learning about species, and board and video games. The role involves working with the child and family, building trust and connection, and may include occasional activities in the community. The schedule is 10 hours per week, mostly on weekdays, with some overnights allowed. On-call and flexible scheduling options are available, and the provider can collaborate with the family to create a mutually workable schedule. Compensation is $14.13 per hour and $200 or more per overnight. Consumer Direct Care Network assists the Member or Managing Party with recruiting; if hired by them, the Member is the legal employer and has sole authority to hire or dismiss the provider.

Requirements

Valid driver’s license.

Patient and understanding, especially when children have negative behaviors.
