About The Position

The Respiratory Therapist coordinates and delivers high-quality, patient-centered respiratory care according to the department’s requirements and applicable state and specialty practice standards. As part of the patient care team, the therapist performs diagnostic tests and therapeutic procedures and monitors patients receiving invasive and noninvasive mechanical ventilation. The role supports the facility’s standards of performance and promotes the organization’s vision, mission, and values.

Requirements

Associate degree.
Hold one of the following credentials: Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT-State), Registered Respiratory Therapist (NBRC-RRT), or Respiratory Therapist/Practitioner (RRT/RCP-State).
Obtain Basic Cardiac Life Support within 30 days of employment start date.
Obtain Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 6 months of employment start date.
Obtain Neonate Resuscitate within 6 months of employment start date.
Obtain PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) within 6 months of employment start date.

Responsibilities
