Respiratory Therapist - RRT
About The Position
Sentara Health is recruiting a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for Sentara Obici Hospital in Suffolk, Virginia. This is a PRN, day-shift position. Sentara Obici is a state-of-the-art, full-service hospital serving Western Tidewater with patient-centered care. The hospital provides services including orthopedic and spine care, heart and vascular care, advanced imaging, gynecological and comprehensive breast services, behavioral health, maternity, weight loss surgery, and heartburn treatment. Applicants need an associate or bachelor’s degree, with exceptions for qualifying non-degreed applicants who earned RRT credentials before January 1, 2006, and graduates of military respiratory therapy programs with RRT credentials. A state respiratory license, NBRC RRT credential, and BLS certification are required at hire. New graduates must have a state license and BLS at hire and obtain the NBRC RRT within six months of hire. No experience is required; one year of respiratory care experience is preferred. Requirements
