Respiratory Therapist (Travel) - RRT - $1,666/wk - Winston-Salem, NC
About The Position
VitalHire is hiring a travel Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for an acute care hospital in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. This is a 13-week contract assignment with one opening, starting December 7, 2026. The schedule is a night shift of four 12-hour shifts, 18:45–7:15. Weekly pay is $1,666, with a housing and meals stipend of up to $1,267 per week where eligible. The assignment accepts first-time travelers. The role requires experience in the ER, adult ICU, Med/Surg, and ICU/Stepdown settings, as well as respiratory care experience with airway management, medication administration, ventilator management, ABGs, oxygen therapy, suction, pulmonary toileting, nebulizers, BiPAP, and CPA. EPIC experience is required.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of recent RRT experience.
- Active North Carolina license/certification for the RRT specialty; compact license accepted where applicable.
- RRT credential from NBRC.
- State RCP license.
- BLS certification.
- ACLS certification.
- EPIC experience.
- Experience in ER, adult ICU, Med/Surg, and ICU/Stepdown settings.
- Respiratory care experience with airway management, medication administration, ventilator management, ABGs, oxygen therapy, suction, pulmonary toileting, nebulizers, BiPAP, and CPA.
- PALS certification is listed among the assignment certifications.
