About The Position

Join our established Community Hospital as a PRN Respiratory Therapist. You’ll provide direct, hands-on care across all departments—assessing and treating adult and pediatric patients with minimal supervision. As a small facility, everyone pitches in beyond their core role, so we’re looking for an adaptable RT who’s comfortable jumping in wherever the unit needs support and who lives the Exceptional Promise: courtesy, dignity, and respect for every patient and colleague.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program
• 2+ years ER/ICU experience
• 2+ years with pediatric patients
• Current, unencumbered RT license in Arizona
• BLS required
• ACLS required
• PALS required

Nice To Haves

• NRP preferred

Responsibilities

• Assess respiratory-compromised patients and deliver appropriate treatment
• Draw and interpret ABGs; advocate for care based on results
• Operate ventilators (incl. LTV 1200), gas administration, and aerosol systems
• Build and evaluate treatment plans alongside the medical staff
• Pitch in on shared tasks and support the unit as needed
• Uphold HIPAA, OSHA, and EMTALA standards (and wear your radio every shift)
