Respiratory Therapist (Part time or PRN)

About The Position
Quipt Home Medical is seeking a Certified or Registered Respiratory Therapist with experience providing respiratory care to patients in a home setting. The therapist sets up prescribed respiratory equipment promptly after receiving physicians’ orders. Experience with ventilator management is needed. The role includes part-time or PRN work.
Requirements
- Experience providing respiratory care to patients in a home setting.
- Experience with ventilator management.
- Clean driving record.
- Successful completion of a background check.
- Must be at least 21 years old to be covered under company auto insurance.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Active RRT or CRT license.
Responsibilities
- Set up and deliver respiratory equipment, including non-invasive ventilators and BiPAPs, in hospital and home settings.
- Complete delivery and pickup paperwork promptly and accurately.
- Instruct patients on the proper use, maintenance, and safety of their medical equipment.
- Make follow-up phone calls to patients after respiratory equipment is set up.
- Provide follow-up care in the home setting as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
