About The Position

Sentara Health is recruiting a PRN Respiratory Therapist at Sentara Leigh Hospital in Norfolk, Virginia. The role is part of an energetic team focused on continuous improvement and peer coaching. Sentara Leigh offers opportunities to learn respiratory therapy foundations and develop a strong skillset through training and professional growth. The hospital is a 274-bed acute care facility with a dedicated Orthopedic Hospital and services including stroke care, orthopedic and spine care, heart and vascular care, maternity care, general surgery, and a 24-hour hyperbaric oxygen program.

Requirements

Associate's or bachelor's degree required. Non-degreed applicants with RRT credentials obtained before January 1, 2006, and graduates of a military respiratory therapy program with RRT credentials will also be considered.
State respiratory license required.
NBRC RRT certification required. New graduates must obtain NBRC RRT within six months of hire.
BLS required at time of hire.
No experience required.
