About The Position
Rocky Mountain Care is seeking a PRN Respiratory Therapist for day and night shifts at Hunter Hollow, its skilled nursing community in West Valley City, Utah. The role provides respiratory care in accordance with physician treatment plans and supports residents through assessment, monitoring, documentation, and communication with the interdisciplinary team and families. Hunter Hollow provides rehabilitation therapy and nursing services for short- and long-term care. Rocky Mountain Care delivers hospice care, home health care, skilled nursing, and assisted living services. Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited respiratory care program.
- Hold a current, unencumbered Utah state license or certification as a respiratory therapist.
- Have a positive attitude and make patient care the first priority.
Responsibilities
- Perform respiratory care procedures in accordance with the physician’s treatment plan.
- Assess patients’ conditions and observe and record their progress and responses to therapy modalities, including adverse reactions to drugs and therapy.
- Communicate patient status and care plans effectively with interdisciplinary team staff and family members.
