About The Position

Performance Home Medical is seeking a Certified or Registered Respiratory Therapist to join its Clinical Team. The therapist supports patients and caregivers with respiratory therapies and equipment, helping them manage their respiratory needs and improve their well-being and independence. The role includes home and hospital visits, patient education and follow-up care, equipment setup and troubleshooting, and accurate documentation. The position is based in Gresham, Oregon, and offers a Monday-through-Friday schedule from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with an occasional on-call rotation. Requirements

Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification.
Active Respiratory Therapist license in the state of Texas, in accordance with state regulatory requirements.
Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle for home and hospital visits.

Responsibilities

Educate, support, and empower patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals on respiratory therapies and equipment management.
Set up, operate, troubleshoot, and instruct patients on respiratory medical devices, including CPAP/Bi-level therapy, home ventilators, Cough Assist devices, and oscillation vests.
Conduct home and hospital visits to assess patient needs and provide follow-up care.
Inspect and test equipment to ensure proper functionality.
Complete thorough and timely documentation to maintain compliance and patient records.
