About The Position

GXO is hiring a local CDL Class A Driver in Gresham, Oregon. The driver operates company equipment on local routes, delivering goods safely and on time, and returns home daily. Equipment includes a 26-foot box truck and a tractor pulling trailers up to 53 feet. The position involves handling freight with pallet jacks to load and unload pallets and electronic equipment. The schedule is Wednesday through Sunday, 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Starting pay is $30.50 per hour, with overtime pay available after 40 hours worked per week. Requirements

At least 6 months of CDL A experience operating a tractor pulling 53-foot trailers within the last 3 years.
Must be at least 18 years old.
Current, valid CDL A driver’s license.
Safe driving record.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience moving multiple types of trailers, such as tanks, vans, and flatbeds.

Responsibilities

Drive trucks and tractor-trailers around the site or on public roads.
Load and unload pallets and electronic equipment using pallet jacks; this is a touch-freight position.
Drive safely and follow all safety policies and practices.
Perform routine inspections.
Communicate effectively with dispatch.
