About The Position
VitalHire is hiring a travel Respiratory Therapist specializing in NICU (RRT) for an acute care hospital in Portland, Oregon. This is a 13-week assignment with a night shift schedule of three 12-hour shifts, 19:00–7:00. The position may float between units, has an expected ratio of 1:15, and requires work every other weekend. Critical care and NICU experience are required. The role uses Epic for charting. Weekly pay is $2,316. Eligible travelers may receive a housing and meals stipend of up to $1,729 per week (GSA FY2027 maximum for this location). The assignment is scheduled to start November 9, 2026, and has two openings. Overtime is indicated at 40 total hours in one week: 1.3%.
Requirements
- Active Oregon license or certification; compact accepted where applicable.
- 1–2 years of recent NICU (RRT) experience.
- RRT credential (NBRC).
- State RCP license.
- BLS certification.
- NRP certification.
- PALS certification.
- Critical care and NICU experience.
