About The Position

FirstChoice is Trinity Health's mobile staffing solution. Travel Respiratory Therapists fill short- and long-term assignments throughout the health system, including regional and nationwide opportunities. The role requires flexibility to float throughout a hospital and/or across multiple hospital locations or regions. The therapist practices according to AARC guidelines, works independently within their scope of knowledge and experience, remains accountable for decisions and outcomes, collaborates with stakeholders to support quality improvement, and adapts to new responsibilities, ideas, cultural differences, and competing priorities. This assignment is at St Alphonsus Health System in Boise, Idaho. It is a 13-week assignment scheduled for three 12-hour day shifts per week, with an ASAP start date. The gross weekly rate is $2,232.00.

Requirements

Graduate of a two-year advanced practitioner-accredited Respiratory Therapist program; registry eligible.
Current CRT and/or RRT credential.
Valid state license in Respiratory Care if required in the state of work.
Interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with patients, physicians, other health personnel, and department management in keeping with the organization's mission and values.
Analytical skills necessary to identify patient needs.
Basic computer skills in a Windows environment.
