About The Position
Rocky Mountain Care is seeking a PRN Respiratory Therapist for day and night shifts at its Hunter Hollow skilled nursing community in West Valley City, Utah. The facility provides rehabilitation therapy and nursing services, including short- and long-term care. The role provides respiratory care in accordance with physician treatment plans, monitors patients’ conditions and responses to therapy, and communicates patient status and care plans with interdisciplinary team members and family.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited respiratory care program.
- Current, unencumbered Utah state license or certification as a respiratory therapist.
- Positive attitude and a patient-care-first approach.
Responsibilities
- Perform respiratory care procedures in accordance with the physician’s treatment plan.
- Assess patients’ conditions and observe and record their progress and responses to therapy modalities, including adverse reactions to drugs and therapy.
- Communicate patient status and plans effectively with interdisciplinary team staff and family members.
