About The Position

Crosswalk Health is seeking Respiratory Therapists (CRT or RRT) and Pulmonary Function Technologists (CPFT or RPFT) to perform simple spirometry testing (pre/post albuterol) at primary care clinics in the Southern Orlando, Florida area. This role is ideal for RTs/PFTs who value flexible, daytime-only work, clinical autonomy, independence, and strong relationships with patients and clinic teams. Crosswalk Health is reimagining pulmonary care by bringing high-quality, guideline-based outpatient spirometry testing into primary care clinics, especially in rural and underserved communities. Their mission is to deliver virtual-first, data-driven pulmonary care at scale, ensuring patients and clinicians have access to high-quality respiratory care.

Requirements

• Must have experience performing bedside or complete PFTs and understanding possible side effects of albuterol administration
• Proficiency in respiratory therapy practices, procedures, and terminology
• Comfortable working independently and traveling locally (within a 45 minute radius)

• Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish

Responsibilities

• Perform pre/post simple spirometry testing with a handheld device
• Prepare and coach patients through testing to ensure comfort and accuracy
• Accurately grade each effort and upload results remotely for physician review
• Monitor patient safety during procedures
• Maintain testing equipment and follow quality and safety protocols
• Represent Crosswalk Health professionally at each clinic site
