About The Position
PAM Health is seeking a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) to care for a diverse patient population at its Dayton Specialty hospital. The role involves caring for chronically and critically ill patients who require extended hospital care. Candidates should have prior inpatient hospital experience or a desire and commitment to learn. The RCP performs routine therapy, diagnostic, and emergency cardiopulmonary procedures and keeps equipment in working order. The practitioner also provides phlebotomy and basic laboratory testing as required or requested. PAM Health provides specialty healthcare services through more than 80 locations, wound clinics, and outpatient physical therapy locations in 17 states. Requirements
- Must be certified or licensed in the state where the hospital is located to practice respiratory care.
- Must possess and maintain current BLS and ACLS certification.
- Blood gas licensure is required if employed in Nevada.
- For hospitals that perform arterial punctures and/or run blood gases, at least a high school diploma is required; an associate degree is preferred.

Responsibilities
