About The Position

PAM Health is seeking a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) to care for a diverse patient population at its hospitals. The role performs routine therapy, diagnostic, and emergency cardiopulmonary procedures and maintains equipment in working order. It also provides phlebotomy and basic laboratory testing as required or requested. PAM Health cares for chronically and critically ill patients who require extended hospital care. Requirements

• Be certified or licensed in the state where the hospital is located to practice respiratory care.
• Possess and maintain current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Hold blood gas licensure if employed in Nevada.
• For hospitals that perform arterial punctures and/or run blood gases, have at least a high school diploma; an associate degree is preferred.

Nice To Haves

• Prior inpatient hospital experience or a desire and commitment to learn.
• At least one year of clinical respiratory experience is preferred.
