About The Position

The Goddard School of Conway is seeking a dedicated and nurturing Resource Teacher to support its early childhood education team. The role works part-time from 2 PM to 6 PM, with additional hours available. The school offers a premium educational experience in state-of-the-art facilities, supporting children as they become joyful, confident learners prepared for school and life.

Requirements

High school diploma required.
Empathy and compassion for young children.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with staff, children, and families.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with handling children.
Must pass required state background checks and meet state minimum education, experience, and credential requirements.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

Enhance lesson plans and activities in collaboration with Lead and Assistant Teachers.
Provide flexible classroom support to ensure a consistent, high-quality educational experience.
Organize and prepare engaging classroom materials and learning centers.
Supervise and engage with children indoors and outdoors, ensuring their safety, well-being, and social development.
Offer personalized attention and foster an inclusive classroom environment.
Collaborate and communicate transparently with families about children's progress and achievements.
Maintain clean and inviting classrooms in accordance with health, safety, and licensing regulations.
Assist with daily care routines and tasks to promote a nurturing learning environment.
