About The Position

The Goddard School of Conway is seeking a dedicated, nurturing Resource Teacher to support children and staff in a classroom setting. The teacher provides flexible classroom support, collaborates with Lead and Assistant Teachers, and helps maintain a consistent, high-quality educational experience. Requirements

High school diploma.
Empathy and compassion for young children.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with staff, children, and families.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with handling children.
Must pass required state background checks and meet state minimum education, experience, and credential requirements.

Responsibilities

Enhance lesson plans and activities in collaboration with Lead and Assistant Teachers.
Provide flexible classroom support to help ensure a consistent, high-quality educational experience.
Organize and prepare engaging classroom materials and learning centers.
Supervise and engage children indoors and outdoors, supporting their safety, well-being, and social development.
Offer personalized attention and foster an inclusive classroom environment.
Communicate transparently with families about children's progress and achievements.
Maintain clean, inviting classrooms in accordance with health, safety, and licensing regulations.
Assist with daily care routines and tasks to promote a nurturing learning environment.
