About The Position

HealthPRO Pediatrics is hiring a full-time, on-site, school-based Resource Teacher in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The role supports students with individualized academic and learning needs, helping them build confidence, access the curriculum, and make academic progress. The teacher collaborates with school staff and families, participates in student evaluations and the IEP process, provides services prescribed in IEPs, and maintains required district documentation. The position is W-2 and pays $40–$48 per hour, based on experience. The role is part of a collaborative pediatric team with support from HealthPRO Pediatrics. The organization describes opportunities for mentorship, professional growth, ongoing learning, and leadership across its ABA, Outpatient Pediatrics, Early Intervention, and School-Based therapy services.

Requirements

Hold a current license to practice in the state of Colorado.
Have successful experience working with culturally diverse families.
Assume responsibility for ongoing continuing education and professional development.

Responsibilities

Consult and collaborate with school staff and families regarding students’ educational deficits.
Conduct initial screenings and comprehensive evaluations.
Participate in the IEP process by developing present levels of performance, goals and objectives, and treatment recommendations for students qualifying for Special Education services.
Provide Special Education sessions using current best practices and services prescribed in students’ IEPs.
Maintain district-required documentation, including notes, monthly summaries, and annual IEPs.
