Assistant Director, START Resource Center provides support to persons with co-occurring developmental disabilities and mental or behavioral health needs who are temporarily accessing crisis or planned stays within the START Resource Center home. This position provides support to the Resource Center Counselors in the daily routine of the home and for habilitative activities, personal care, health care and other activities. The Assistant Director participates as part of comprehensive START services that collaborate with individual’s primary provider and clinical home, community crisis services, family and others. In addition, this position has supervisor responsibility, functioning as direct support to the Resource Center Director position. The Assistant Director position provides administrative oversight of specific program operations in collaboration with and in the absence of the Resource Center Director. The Assistant Director also shares the function with Resource Center Director as liaison between the START Clinical Team and Resource Center Counselor team.
