About The Position

The Resort Maintenance Technician I supports maintenance operations at the Wilderness Club at Big Cedar, a 445-unit resort in Ridgedale, Missouri. The role works with engineering leadership and other maintenance staff to support special projects, perform building repairs, troubleshoot plumbing fixtures, and maintain detailed records in English. The position includes painting and a range of wall and ceiling finishes. The employer describes opportunities for growth and development within the hospitality industry.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• At least 3 years of experience in facilities maintenance.
• Ability to climb stairs and work on ladders up to 40 feet; push or pull up to 100 pounds; lift or carry up to 50 pounds; and grasp, stoop, and reach overhead, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Establish a clear line of communication with engineering leadership.
• Assist other maintenance staff with special projects.
• Keep detailed records in English for logs and inspection sheets.
• Perform painting, stucco, texturing, drywall, staining, knockdown, and popcorn-ceiling work.
• Troubleshoot plumbing fixtures, including drain cleaning.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the leader.
