Resort Housekeeper (Provident Doral at The Blue Miami)
About The Position
As a Housekeeping Room Attendant, you will ensure the cleanliness of each guest room and provide service excellence to resort guests. The role includes cleaning and sanitizing guest rooms and shared areas, replenishing linens and amenities, maintaining floors and furnishings, and responding promptly to guest requests. Team members may work varying schedules, including weekends and holidays, to reflect resort business needs. The position also involves reporting maintenance and safety concerns, maintaining cleaning supplies and equipment, and assisting with special cleaning projects or other assigned duties.
Requirements
- Previous experience in custodial or industrial cleaning is preferred, particularly in hotel or hospitality settings.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Passion for providing exceptional service to guests and team members.
- Reliability, diligence, dedication, and attention to detail.
- Teamwork and collaboration skills.
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with guests, coworkers, and supervisors.
- Availability to work varying schedules, including weekends and holidays, as business needs require.
Nice To Haves
- Previous custodial or industrial cleaning experience, particularly in hotel or hospitality settings.
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including bathrooms, kitchens, and living areas, to established cleanliness standards.
- Change bed linens, towels, and other amenities as needed to support guest comfort.
- Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and surfaces.
- Vacuum carpets and perform floor care in guest rooms and hallways.
- Promptly report maintenance issues and safety hazards to the housekeeping management team.
- Restock cleaning supplies and ensure equipment is in good working condition.
- Assist with special cleaning projects as required by management or during peak periods.
- Respond promptly to guest requests and inquiries while upholding hospitality standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
