About The Position

The Resort Housekeeper maintains a welcoming, comfortable environment for guests by cleaning and preparing guest rooms and resort accommodations according to company and Department of Health cleanliness standards. The role includes reviewing daily room assignments, gathering supplies, identifying and reporting maintenance or equipment issues, and completing cleaning tasks within expected timeframes. Housekeepers restock guest amenities, follow lost-and-found procedures, and coordinate with resort colleagues to support efficient operations. The position also involves friendly, professional interactions with guests and team members and other duties assigned by management.

• Ability to perform physically active work, including lifting, bending, pushing carts, and standing for extended periods indoors and outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Clean and prepare guest rooms and resort accommodations to meet company and Department of Health cleanliness standards.
• Review daily room assignments, including arrivals and departures, and gather supplies for assigned rooms.
• Identify and report maintenance concerns, damaged items, and equipment issues.
• Maintain cleaning quality while completing assignments within expected timeframes.
• Turn in items found in guest rooms according to established lost-and-found procedures.
• Coordinate with housekeeping team members and other resort departments.
• Dust furniture, vacuum floors, make beds, change linens, and sanitize bathrooms and kitchen areas.
• Restock guest room items and amenities.
• Interact with guests and fellow team members in a friendly and professional manner.
• Assist with additional tasks or assignments as directed by management.
