About The Position

The Housekeeper at The Wexford maintains cleanliness standards in resident apartments and community common areas, helping create a home-like environment for residents. The role includes caring for and maintaining equipment and tools used in daily work and complying with federal, state, and local standards for facility operation. Housekeepers incorporate Generation’s Mission, Vision, and Values into their daily work and interactions. The position is full-time, Monday through Thursday from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. CPR and First Aid training is available upon hire.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Certification in CPR and First Aid; training is available upon hire.
Ability to read, write, communicate, and follow written and oral instructions in English.

Nice To Haves

Housekeeping experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Clean and service residents’ apartments, common areas, guest rooms, and offices.
Change linens in apartments as scheduled.
Perform laundry duties as needed.
Spot clean carpets as needed.
Service apartments as they become vacant and ensure efficient apartment turnover.
Regularly review the facility’s physical environment and direct requests for repair and replacement.
Assist personnel and residents in establishing a home-like atmosphere.
Care for and maintain equipment and tools used in daily work.
Comply with federal, state, and local standards for facility operation.
Incorporate Generation’s Mission, Vision, and Values into daily work and interactions.
Perform other duties as assigned.
