About The Position

This flexible, part-time position is for an experienced residential construction professional who provides customer service and support to new home buyers during their transition into a new home. The agent serves as a key point of contact, conducts home orientations and walkthroughs, explains procedures, answers questions, and documents potential construction-related items. The role is remote with local field responsibilities and requires residence in or near Charleston, South Carolina, along with regular travel in the area. Work is scheduled as needed based on business demand, with weekday availability required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Comfort interacting with homeowners, builders, and internal teams.
• Proficiency with iPad, Microsoft Office Suite, PDF Expert, and Adobe Acrobat.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, and drive for extended periods during fieldwork.
• Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record.
• Must reside in or near the Charleston, SC area and have reliable transportation.
• Weekday availability during standard business hours; ideally available 2–3 weekdays per week.

Nice To Haves

• Residential construction experience is strongly preferred.
• Experience conducting walkthroughs and documenting construction-related items is a plus.
• Experience in carpentry, installation, home inspection, renovation, project management, firefighting, insurance restoration, or similar fields.

Responsibilities

• Deliver prompt, professional, and friendly customer service to new home buyers and builders.
• Conduct new home orientations and walkthroughs, ensuring all details are reviewed and properly documented.
• Meet with clients on-site to explain procedures, answer questions, and document potential construction-related items.
• Maintain regular communication with the Director of Field Operations and Strategic Accounts, providing updates on progress and performance.
• Submit accurate reports, photos, and documentation using company-provided technology and applications.
