About The Position

As a Security Officer Site Walkthrough in Fontana, California, you will serve and safeguard clients at a logistics and distribution location. You will conduct routine unarmed patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control and facility operations. The role involves providing customer service, communicating clearly with team members and visitors, and upholding Allied Universal’s values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, caring, and integrity. This is a part-time position paying $18.00 per hour. The listed schedule is Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM. Employees can use the Claim a Shift platform to view and claim additional shifts.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any state or local licensing requirements that may apply before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and perform emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations, following established reporting procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
Monitor access points and observe personnel, visitors, drivers, and deliveries in accordance with site-specific procedures.
Document patrols, incidents, and unusual activity accurately, and promptly communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or emergency responders.
