About The Position

Horace Mann is seeking an Exclusive Insurance Agent in Orangeburg, South Carolina. The agent will build and manage an agency serving educators, identify insurance and financial solutions that support their affordability and financial security, and develop relationships and market access. The role offers performance-based 1099 compensation, an incentive package during the first 48 months, dedicated client-service support, an exclusive territory, technology and training, a multiline product portfolio, and market and relationship-building programs. An external office is not required for the first two years.

Requirements

• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Strong business management skills.
• Resident state Life and Health Insurance License.
• Resident state Property and Casualty Insurance License.
• Ability to obtain FINRA Series 6 and 63 licenses, if applicable in the region.

• 2–5 years of experience in the insurance and financial services industry.
