About The Position
The Part-Time Sales Associate drives sales efforts and customer relationships by providing excellent customer service and using effective selling techniques. The role includes daily store functions such as product merchandising, sales, customer relations, and store maintenance. Customer service, sales, and teamwork are central to the position.
Requirements
- Previous retail or customer service work experience is preferred but not necessary.
- Excellent command of English to communicate effectively with management, customers, and other employees.
- Basic fashion and style trend knowledge and a desire to work with customers in a retail setting.
- Problem-solving, analytical, detail-orientation, flexibility, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to provide excellent customer service, maintain accurate inventory control, transport merchandise, and perform store maintenance.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work extended hours during critical project phases and in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with flexibility.
- Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities
- Use basic fashion and trend knowledge to identify customer needs, recommend appropriate merchandise, and build customer relationships while maintaining DTLR standards.
- Assist with shipments, merchandising, restocking, and pricing.
- Provide customers with a positive, energetic, and outgoing impression while demonstrating enthusiasm toward the job and company.
- Comply with company policies.
- Participate in service training and product programs.
- Follow visual standards, complete daily restocking, and maintain adequate size runs according to visual directions.
- Assist in preventing employee and customer theft.
- Help maintain a neat and orderly sales environment.
- Keep the store organized as directed by store management.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
