Requirements

  • Passion for mental health advocacy
  • Effective communication and relationship-building skills
  • Good writing skills
  • Strong time management and organization
  • To be at least 21 years old
  • A valid driver’s license, current car insurance, and daily access to your own car
  • Willingness to provide transportation to clients
  • High school diploma or GED certificate and 5 years of supervised clinical experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field
  • Bachelor’s degree in an unrelated field and 2 years of supervised clinical experience
  • Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field

Nice To Haves

  • $1000 salary increase for LSW or LPC licensure
  • $1000 salary increase for CRSS

Responsibilities

  • Provides direct service to members in a residential setting, assesses service needs, and makes recommendations for treatment.
  • Teaches members independent and community living skills, such as housekeeping, shopping, meal preparation, and personal hygiene as well as the development of functional, interpersonal, and coping skills.
  • Responsible for creating a safe, clean, and inviting atmosphere for members.
  • Keeps the residence neat and clean at all times.
  • Advises supervisor, team leader, or other designee of any maintenance problems and issues.
  • Supports and promotes member self-advocacy and participation in planning, decision-making, and treatment.
  • Identifies risk factors related to relapse and develops relapse prevention plans and strategies.
  • Monitors and documents self-administration of medication in keeping with Thresholds’ standards.
  • Assures that all Thresholds records are organized.
  • Follows all appropriate safeguards with regard to confidential files.

  • Competitive Pay: $22.50 - $24.42/ per hour - $46,880 - $50,800 Based upon education, experience, and licensure
