About The Position

The Residential Supervisor provides front-line supervision of staff assigned to a home and hands-on care to individuals with intellectual and other developmental disabilities. Support includes assistance with personal hygiene, activities and outings, social engagement, shopping, planning, cooking, and cleaning. This full-time position works Monday through Friday from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. and supports men.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Current driver’s license (not provisional) with fewer than 3 points on the driving record.
• Ability to transport people supported as needed.
• Some lifting and transferring may be required.

Responsibilities

• Attend required meetings and trainings.
• Implement each individual’s Person-Centered Plan and maintain data needed to measure progress toward stated goals and objectives.
• Maintain records, including staff schedules, transition notes for staff, medication, seizure, and psychotropic charts, time sheets, daily logs, petty cash documentation, and mileage logs.
• Assist individuals with participating in and exploring the community.
• Cultivate and expand independent living skills.
• Assist with developing meaningful and personal relationships.
• Implement strategies to achieve individuals’ personal goals.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
