About The Position

The Residential Specialist provides direct care and support to individuals with disabilities in a home environment. Using a person-centered approach, the role empowers clients to participate in daily life, make choices, and build independence. The schedule is Thursday through Saturday, 3 p.m. to 11 p.m., in Kearney Mesa. The pay range is $20.00 to $20.65 per hour. Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Six months of experience working with individuals with disabilities.
Valid California Driver’s License, current auto insurance, and a clean driving record.
Compassion and a genuine interest in helping others.
Adaptability and comfort working with diverse individuals in different situations.
Teamwork, strong communication, and problem-solving skills.
Responsibility, reliability, and pride in creating a positive environment.

Nice To Haves

Bilingual in English and Spanish.
Experience using case management systems; Therap is preferred.
A passion for making a difference.

Responsibilities

Provide hands-on, person-centered care in a residential setting.
Assist with personal care, hygiene, eating, cooking, cleaning, dressing and undressing, mobility, and personal organization.
Encourage independence by supporting individuals in achieving personal goals.
Create a safe, respectful, and engaging home environment.
