About The Position

The Residential Direct Support Professional provides direct care and support to individuals with disabilities in a home environment. Using a person-centered approach, the role empowers clients to participate in daily life, make choices, and build independence. The position is located in Santee and is scheduled Thursday through Saturday, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. The stated pay range is $20.00 to $20.65. Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Six months of experience working with individuals with disabilities.
Valid California driver’s license, current auto insurance, and a clean driving record.
Compassion, adaptability, teamwork, strong communication and problem-solving skills, responsibility, and reliability.
Passion for helping others and making a difference.

Nice To Haves

Bilingual in English and Spanish.
Experience using case management systems; Therap is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide hands-on, person-centered care in a residential setting.
Assist with personal care, hygiene, eating, cooking, cleaning, dressing and undressing, mobility, and personal organization.
Encourage independence by supporting individuals in achieving personal goals.
Create a safe, respectful, and engaging home environment.
