About The Position

As a Residential Specialist, you’ll provide direct care and support to individuals with disabilities in a home environment. Using a person-centered approach, you’ll empower clients to engage in daily life, make choices, and gain independence. The position is located in Chula Vista and is scheduled Thursday through Saturday, 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Pay is $20.00 to $20.65. The role involves assisting with personal care and daily activities, encouraging individuals to pursue personal goals, and helping maintain a safe, respectful, and engaging home environment. Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Six months of experience working with individuals with disabilities.
Valid California Driver’s License, current auto insurance, and a clean driving record.
Compassion and a genuine interest in helping others.
Adaptability and comfort working with diverse individuals in different situations.
Teamwork, strong communication, and problem-solving skills.
Responsibility, reliability, and pride in creating a positive environment.

Nice To Haves

Bilingual in English and Spanish.
Experience using case management systems; Therap is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide hands-on, person-centered care in a residential setting.
Assist with daily activities, including personal care, hygiene, eating, cooking, cleaning, dressing and undressing, mobility, and personal organization.
