Residential Specialist- Spring Valley (Thus- Sat 2p-10p)
About The Position
As a Residential Specialist, you’ll provide direct care and support to individuals with disabilities in a home environment. Using a person-centered approach, you’ll empower clients to engage in daily life, make choices, and gain independence. The position is located in Spring Valley and is scheduled Tuesday through Saturday, 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. The pay range is $20.00 to $20.65. The role includes providing hands-on, person-centered support with daily activities and helping individuals pursue personal goals. Residential Specialists contribute to a safe, respectful, and engaging home environment.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Six months of experience working with individuals with disabilities.
- Valid California Driver’s License, current auto insurance, and a clean driving record.
- Compassionate, adaptable, responsible, and reliable, with strong communication and problem-solving skills and an ability to work as part of a team.
Nice To Haves
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
- Experience using case management systems; Therap is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on, person-centered care in a residential setting.
- Assist with personal care, hygiene, eating, cooking, cleaning, dressing and undressing, mobility, and personal organization.
- Encourage independence by supporting individuals in achieving personal goals.
