About The Position

The Residential Shift Supervisor provides direct care services and assumes additional authority when managers are absent. The supervisor ensures direct care staff follow each resident’s individualized plans and serves as an Integrated Treatment Model (ITM) expert on the team, helping maintain fidelity to the model.

The role works alongside the ITM team to carry out the model’s functions in support of the population. The supervisor uses a nonjudgmental approach focused on skill building and basic principles of behavior, including reinforcement, extinction, blocking, and shaping. The supervisor functions as part of a team, models prosocial behavior, and builds positive relationships with residents.

Requirements

• At least one year of childcare experience at a residential treatment center.
• High school diploma.
• Ability to manage and promote a therapeutic environment while accounting for the varying clinical needs of each youth.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Exceptional time management and attention to detail skills.
