About The Position

HANSONS is hiring a hands-on Residential Service Technician for its Toledo/Maumee team. The role involves residential window repairs and lifetime warranty service, minor repairs to other home improvement products, taking measurements, documenting work on a company-issued iPad, and serving homeowners in their homes. Training on HANSONS products and service processes is provided. The position is full-time, year-round, and follows a Monday–Friday schedule. A company vehicle is provided during work hours, and the service area includes communities within approximately 60 miles of Maumee, Ohio.

Requirements

Hands-on experience with residential repairs or remodeling is preferred.
Confidence using a tape measure and hand/power tools.
Strong troubleshooting and customer service skills.
Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
Ability to travel throughout the local service area.

Nice To Haves

Experience with window installation or repair.
Experience with residential remodeling or construction.
Experience with apartment or property maintenance.
Experience as a handyman or in home repair services.
Experience with residential service or warranty work.
Window experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Complete residential window repairs and lifetime warranty service.
Repair and adjust window sashes, balances, locks, screens, and hardware.
Perform minor repairs involving windows, siding, roofing, gutters, and other home improvement products.
Take accurate measurements for replacement windows and bath remodeling projects.
Document work using a company-issued iPad.
Provide excellent customer service in homeowners' homes.
Travel throughout the local service area.
